You can navigate directly from the candidate’s record in Workday to the EBI platform, and make on-the-fly adjustments to your predefined screening packages.

Workday - EBI Integration Workflow Steps

Recruiter Identifies Candidate

When the candidate is being managed through the recruiting process, the Workday recruiter can move the candidate into the
EBI Background Screening process by using the Move Forward process as shown here

Background Check Initiated

Next, the Workday user selects the background screening package based on the predefined picklist of available screening packages.

Data Transferred To EBI

The applicant receives a client defined and branded email invitation or SMS from the EBI system requesting the completion of any missing information required for the background check, and to sign the required authorization forms.

Candidate Authorization

When all information has been filled in, the candidate will be prompted to authorize the background check to be performed. This authorization is performed via electronic signature.

Request Processed

Once submitted and in process with EBI, the candidate record is updated with a Pending status and an ETA as to when the screening will be completed.

Completed Background Check Posted

Once EBI has completed the screening request, a final status of Complete is processed and a link to the final screening report is available for viewing.

Recruiter Reviews Results

After clicking on the report URL link, the full report is presented.
