After this presentation, attendees will be able to:
- Describe how design culture is a super power in creating a positive work culture
- Define negative behaviors as a social phenomenon that includes peers, leaders, and the organization’s culture, and how they unfold in times of stress
- Take the first step in understanding your culture – develop and execute a simple climate survey
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for culture, including reevaluating your current mission statement and core values and determining whether changes are needed due to COVID-19
- Explore the positive impact of design culture on all the “nouns” in your organization through a case study of EBI showcasing real world initiatives and decisions as well as some pitfalls to avoid
- Examine your existing health and wellness programs, resources, communication and training, and design and implement enhanced offerings to increase emotional intelligence throughout your organization
- Identify, design and implement key components and training to launch a meaningful and comprehensive Return to Work program that goes beyond COVID-19 safety measures
- Provide coaching to those members of your workforce who are struggling to maintain positive relationships, whether through negativity, exclusivity or bullying
