Ceridian Dayforce - EBI Integration Workflow Steps


To initiate a background check the client updates the candidate status and places them in the EBI background check status.


The EBI web report (created as part of configuration) will provide info to EBI on all candidates/applicants with the Application Status Reference code of EBI BKGRND.


The applicant receives a client defined and branded email invitation or SMS from the EBI system requesting the completion of any missing information required for the background check, and to sign the required authorization forms.


When all information has been filled in, the candidate will be prompted to authorize the background check to be performed. This authorization is performed via electronic signature.


EBI will send an email to the Dayforce user confirming the background screen request has been completed with a link to the final results report so the Dayforce user can view the order in the EBI platform.


When the background check is completed, the Dayforce user will move the candidate to the next status based on the adjudication and background screen results.
