The Screening News Network has already posted some of the interviews from the show, but we thought you might like to get a closer look at what it takes to put on the fabulous event. You’re about to get a look at what happens behind the scenes!
For a full year, the entire sales and marketing team here at EBI has warned me about the intense experience that is “SHRM.” How big it is… how exhausting it is… how exciting it is! “SHRM,” it turns out, is the acronym for the Society for Human Resource Management. When a member of the EBI team says SHRM it only means one thing – the society’s three day extravaganza of a convention.
This year’s event was held in the world’s largest adult playground – Las Vegas, Nevada. While the backdrop probably did make this event seem even more grand, my friends and colleagues were not exaggerating. The experience of SHRM was as big and over-the-top as advertised. It was also a well-oiled machine that provided amazing opportunities for HR managers from around the world and the vendors who work with them.
