Physical Exams
EBI provides complete management for your Regulated (DOT) and Non-regulated (Non-DOT) physical programs. Our Occupational Healthcare Professionals will assist in clinic selection, design, rollout, quality control, training and compliance programs.
Key Benefits
- EBI provides both Regulated (DOT) and Non-regulated (Non-DOT) physical exams.
- All physical exams are conducted at clinic locations.
- As part of regulatory compliance, the federal government requires that transportation employees receive regular physicals (first upon hire, and then on an annual recertification basis). Our team of physicians and nurse practitioners perform a comprehensive, cost-effective physical examination in conformity with DOT standards (FR part 391, Subpart E).
- Upon completion of the physical, donors are issued a wallet card that certifies that they have passed the physical requirements necessary to drive commercial motor vehicles.
Possible Add-ons to a physical exam Regulated (DOT) or Non-regulated (Non-DOT) are:
- EKG
- Urinalysis (UA Dip)
- Clinical Lab Work
- Vision Screening
- Lift Test
