International Criminal Records
Through our extensive Global Partnership Program, EBI provides criminal records searches throughout the world.
What does this service provide?
Our international field contractors and partners use an array of methods to obtain global criminal records information. Most of the searches are conducted by agents on the ground in many global regions. Information is then relayed back to the U.S. via electronic format or within the guidelines and regulations of that country.
Criminal records are searched in the nearest major city in reference to the subject’s current address. Records are searched and confirmed through 1) Government Agencies, 2) Police Departments and/or 3) Courts.
- Crimes and offenses that are reported are comparable to felonies in the United States
- Less serious offenses (Misdemeanors) will be reported if stored and reported within a particular country
- Years covered in searches varies by country
