Summary: Minnesota State Law, Statute 16C.075, states that effective July 21, 2011, all contracts for services valued in excess of $50,000 must require certification from the vendor and any subcontractors that, as of the date services on behalf of the state of Minnesota will be performed, the vendor and all subcontractors are utilizing E-Verify for all newly-hired employees who will perform work on behalf of the state of Minnesota.

The State of Minnesota reserves the right to determine penalties for non-compliance, but non-compliance penalties may include cancellation of current contracts, and/or debarment from future contracts with the State of Minnesota.
